Event Detials

Step into the world of Mycology! This introductory, hands-on class will teach you the basics of mushroom log inoculation from start to finish. Learn about mushroom lifecycles, where to source materials, and how to inoculate logs. Participants will get hands-on experience in every step of the process and will get to take home a 30” Shiitake or Oyster mushroom log. The logs have been harvested from 3 Oaks Forest Farm as part of woodland thinning for tree health.

*Includes one 30” take-home log (shiitake or oyster mushroom option). Extra logs are available for $20 each (To be inoculated during the workshop).

*Jack’s is an inclusive community and does not believe that income should be a barrier to learning. If you are interested in this workshop but unable to pay the full fee, please email admin@jacksfarmsupply.com
